sublime : red velvet cupcake from coffee bean & tea leaf, queensbay mall, pulau pinang

I’ve started the week with a heavy heart — My son got sick of a certain viral infection manifested with intermittent fever, some episodes of vomiting and loose bowel movement, eventually I felt so helpless but faith really works wonders!

There’s a lot to be thankful for but more importantly, Gabby’s health and joy are already restored.

22 days to go and he and his mom will join me here in Penang for our holiday break.

I’ll go home with them a day after Christmas to peek at a lot of things that I’ve missed about Manila; will welcome New Year at home and will be back to work place at the start of 2011.

For now, allow me to wish everyone an advance Merry Christmas and a Blessed 2011!

Happy weekend po! πŸ™‚

  1. Doc, nakakaawa ka naman, homesick na homesick ka na, kelan ka ba uuwi for good?? ako nahihirapan sayo e hehehe, sana ok na si Gabby mo…ang agang pagbati naman ng merry christmas, pero ok na rin….same to you doc lol

    1. ayaw ko muna umuwi for good, sardz… walang work sa pinas! or walang magandang sahod sa pinas. dito pwede na.. sana makaipon na kami (beginnning january pa siguro, pasko kasi = gastos!)…

  2. Glad to know that Gabby is as good as new! Mahirap talaga ang malayo sa pamilya….I’ve been there before. I know the feeling, especially when there is an emergency in the family and you are so far away you cannot make a positive difference no matter how you think otherwise.

  3. It’s good to hear Gabby is well now.

That cake, even small, looks so yummy.

I can feel the excitement for the coming your wife and son πŸ™‚ ilang tulog na lang woot woot

  4. salamat naman at ok na si gabby.

ang aga naman nitong greetings mo doc. mag break ba itong blog mo?

malamang mas excited si gabby sa iyo sa pagkikita nyo πŸ™‚

    happy weekend.

  5. i can only imagine the anguish of being away from your son especially when he’s sick. good to know he’s OK now. konting tulog na lang pala makakasama mo ang iyong mag-ina. i’m sure this adds spring to your steps.

  6. I’m glad to hear Gabby is better now. It’s maddening to think of a sick family member while you’re away!
In a few more weeks, you’ll be having your reunion together. No wonder your excitement is palpable!

  7. You know what they say – children are resilient. Gabby is going to enjoy a long and healthy life with you and Tina. And I’m sure you’ll have the best of times when they visit Penang!
