Before I left Manila for long-term work in Penang, I savored not only my family but the company of old and new friends. My family and I were treated a lot of times to restaurants with dishes that I have been missing. Here are couple of those dinner dates we enjoyed.

Despite the fact that I am gradually embracing the spicy and other flavorful and fascinating dishes in Penang, still nothing beats savoring gastronomic delights in the company of your loved ones.
I miss foods in Pinas, most of all, I miss my family so much.
Thank you Skype, you melt my homesickness away. 🙂

wow pasta galore sarap. have you tried cooking filipino dishes there?
good question! since july 30th that we arrived here in penang, we haven’t tried cooking because we’re only on our temporary accomodation. all of the 20+ Pinoy MDs here including myself, are scheduled to move in to our permanent places beginning this weekend until next week. soon after those dates, we hope to cook our own meals.
we’re all starving for non-spicy and non-curried foods!
